Amy Buttersworth, current resident of Brookhaven in DeKalb County, showcases a robust real estate career spanning over 30 years, where she specializes in the purchase and sale of luxury homes, commercial property, and leasing. With a career that originally began in residential property management in 1992 in her hometown of Savannah, Amy moved to Atlanta in 1994 and began working with a litigation law firm where she served as a paralegal working with real estate attorneys assisting real estate transactions. Amy's skills earned her a position with private equity investment firms where she honed her market research and analytics skills assisting with complex multi-million-dollar real estate transactions in agricultural, commercial and Class A office assets, working with a timber investment management organization, real estate investment trusts, and real estate developers. Her combined exposure to all angles of the real estate business gave her the tools to fully embrace the multi-faceted expertise she embodies today.

Her official real estate career launch in 2014 was due to her difficulty trying to find a real estate agent she could trust, and her decision in joining Engel & Völkers Atlanta to serve her clientele was founded on her belief that individuals deserve the wholehearted dedication and level of expertise that she, herself, was searching for.

In her leisure time, you will find Amy at the gym, reading a good book or with her family. She is a proud mother of three young adults. Amy has a passion for historic architecture and enjoys traveling to experience rich cultures worldwide. Her favorite experience was seeing the La Pedrera (1905), also known as Casa Mila and the Sagrada Família (1882), church that is still under construction, both in Barcelona, Spain designed by architect Antoni Gaudi.
